Wyre Interactive is a small indie game development team. In other words, we make games, hopefully good ones.
Simple. We don't have many rules here, but we always try to follow these policies.
We don't care how shiny our games look. If they're enjoyable to play, that's all we care about.
We always strive to make our games as enjoyable and smooth to play as we can. I don't think anyone should have a problem with that.
In every game we ever make, we want the community to get involved and we will always respect and consider any feedback we get.
Games made by real people who exist. We're not trying to be a company, because we're not. We're just people who make games so you can be entertained.
Tumblr - We post devlogs and stuff here.
Reddit - The best way for you to share stuff about our games.
YouTube - Trailers, soundtracks, and more are uploaded here.
Facebook - A neglected Facebook page we rarely use, but hey it's there if you want it. Also we answer messages sent here.
SoundCloud - All our soundtracks are uploaded here. Also we do some royalty free stuff. This is actually Dec_bot's page, but we use it anyway.
YouTube - Gaming content mostly, but a bit of Wyre Interactive testing too.
Tumblr - Reviews and random blabberings from Dec_bot. Dec_bot would like to disclose that he only uses Tumblr because it's a good way of displaying info.
Game Jolt - All of Wyre's released games (at least the free ones) are avaliable here for you to play!
SoundCloud - The same as Wyre Interactive's SoundCloud.
We like to have content submitted through our subreddit, but if you have a buisness related enquiry, email us at wyreinteractive@gmail.com. We read messages to our YouTube channel, as well as notes on our Tumblr.
If you want to make any content about our games, here are the simple rules you need to follow.
Probably not. Unless your reaction video is transformative, we will more than likely ask that you take the video down, as reaction videos without any depth to them we consider as straight up copyright violation, and you will be asked to remove the offending video. If you're concerned about whether or not your work is transformative, please make a post on our subreddit with examples of similar content to the video you wish to make.
Yes, however we ask that you seek permission in larger scale projects such as documentaries or films. If it's a YouTube video, it's fine, as long as you are actually adding something to the video. Reuploading videos in general is illegal, we will take action. Note that having a clip of you saying, for example, "hey check this video out" and then playing the video isn't transformative enough to actually change the fact that you're breaking the law. YTPs and memey shit is fine in our books as long as it follows all our other rules.
Yes, but the game must be distributed for free, pay what you want doesn't count as free. Additionally, gaining ad revenue is fine.
